A Genuinely Capable Tracker for Under $100

The Inspire 3 is Fitbit’s entry-level tracker, but it doesn’t feel stripped down. It brings a color AMOLED touchscreen with an always-on display option, an SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen monitoring, and Fitbit’s full suite of health scores — sleep staging, stress management, and 24/7 heart rate — all in a body that weighs under 18 grams.

Battery life runs up to 10 days with the always-on display turned off, and it’s water resistant to 50 meters, so it handles showers and swimming without issue. It doesn’t have built-in GPS (it relies on your phone’s connected GPS for outdoor distance tracking), which is the main trade-off versus pricier Fitbit models, but for step counting, sleep tracking, and basic fitness monitoring, it covers the essentials well.

Who It’s For

This is the right pick for anyone new to fitness tracking who doesn’t want to spend premium-smartwatch money to find out if they’ll actually use it. It’s also a great fit for anyone who mainly cares about step counting, sleep tracking, and basic health scores rather than dedicated outdoor GPS tracking for runs and rides.

What We Liked

• Color AMOLED display with always-on option feels premium for an entry-level price
• SpO2 sensor and full Fitbit health score suite included, not stripped down to bare basics
• Under 18 grams makes it genuinely unnoticeable to wear
• 50m water resistance handles showers and swimming without issue

Things to Consider

• No built-in GPS, so outdoor distance tracking relies on your phone being nearby
• Some advanced Fitbit features require a Premium subscription to unlock
